Amazing extension. The free version offers 100 queriers per day which should be plenty for the average user. This is assuming you do not use the higher tier AI models such as GPT 4 and Gemini Pro. The pro plan is definitely worth it if you are a power user as it gives you access to every model with unlimited queries.

Useful, but it slows Chrome down too much, especially as i'm typing in the search box and the CPU on my Gen 2 Threadripper spikes to 80%. So for me it's unusable until this gets fixed.

This extension is very useful, but many features require payment with no trial opportunity. So, I switched to TinaMind.

Free Merlin with 100+ queries is really more like 5 queries a day. The "queries" are actually token counts. Asked when school break was- it gave me a nice long paragraph (20 query points) to say "go check the internet". Complete waste. Both Perplexity and GPT got it right on first try. Glad i'm only on the free account

The AI might be good BUT sloppy video means the PIN TO CHROME step is not covered meaning MOST people will watch this poorly produced video and not see Merlin in Chrome. They will then conclude it did not work and IGNORE IT !!!!! The video is like a poor Youtube video with load music, very short but very poor from a communication point of view. Done by a techie I just. Run it past the marketing team and see what they say or even trial with non-tech people
